Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Schenectady is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Cute general store-meets-coffee shop and cafe. Lovely pastry selections for the morning, and lots of drink options, prepared foods, and sandwiches for take away or eating on site in the cozy store or in the backyard garden. I loved my BEC; fabulous English muffin.

Better than uncommon grounds. A nice hidden place, with green products, modern esthetic. Just be careful of stockade surrounding the place as it's historical and occasionally floods due to a nearby river. The place itself it above this. Expect $25-30 to cover a food item an beverage. There seasonal drinks are the best. Parking is hard prepair to walk. Nice hidden gem truly and it's moderate relaxed atmosphere. It can be wheelchair ecessiable. Some products contains nuts so if you have food allergies it may prove different but asking for request the staff are kind just be patient.

This is a gem! Right away, I noticed that the proprietor has an interesting point of view- It made me want to get to know her. CafΓ© items have many homemade syrups and special blends that they make into unexpected and delightful combinations. The frangipane tart is unbelievable. I had saved my husband a bite and he was so excited about it, we actually drove.back that same day. We also procured of those iced coffees that has the blackberry syrup with the crumble topping and cold foam. All of the little gift items are charming, but the cookbooks that are sold there have a melding of cultures, respect for ancient traditions and an excitement around what can be built through community. If I lived close, Iβd wanna be a part of their cookbook club. Iβve every intention of trying to emulate this idea in my hometown. Good internet, relaxed and friendly professional staff. The cafe has a mix of ages, races, and social locations represented. Itβs a hidden treasure worth the trip.

I went with a friend to Aurther's Market Cafe today for the first time. I had known it in years past as a local grocery store, but the woman at the counter said it was turned into a Cafe about 5 years ago. It was about 11:00 am and the place was packed, except for the outdoor dining lining the window side of the building and the patio space (see photo) in the back which was partially occupied. I ordered the Chai Latte and egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich. My friend ordered the Matcha Latte and two of the same breakfast sandwiches. In the few minutes it took for us to order, a sizable line formed behind us. My drink came a short while later, and our food took a few minutes for them to cook. My Chai latte was exquisite, probably the best I've had, and I've had some very good Chai lattes. As soon as I tasted the breakfast sandwich, I could tell it was good because of the sauce that they use. It was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Everything about it was top notch. Afterward, we went out the back way to see the patio seating within private fencing, as well as view the nearby Riverside Park, where there is a bike path and children's playground - an

What an adorable place! Lots of tables, lots of items to buy, nice counter filled with baked goods, shelves with specialty teas and coffees. I tried a iced latte with blueberry and lavendar flavor. My friend had chicken salad and an iced matcha. Located in the Stockade District, so we took our drinks down to the water and then walked around a bit before we had to leave. Loved it, people there working on their computers. I would def go back again. Staff helpful and quick.
